Its mounting is flexible via a swing arm system, and it supports both pedestal and pendant mounting. It also allows easy access to all operating elements. The panel uses an LED backlight with 70,000 hours half brightness time.

Information is displayed on the 5AP5230.156C-000 in landscape format. Its touch screen functions on the projected capacitive technology. This technology makes machine operation more intuitive, thus preventing unintentional operator errors. Gestures like swiping, zooming, and scrolling can be easily carried out. Despite intuitive touch screen technology, some operations prefer mechanical controls, so this panel has optional push buttons, selector switches, and key switches.
