The 8CVI ACOPOS Inverter Modules series is a family of decentralized ACOPOSremote inverter modules for B&R motion systems that combines motor power conversion, encoder feedback handling, and network communication in a single field-installed unit.
The series includes IP65 modules with a nominal 750 VDC DC bus and current classes such as 4.5 A, 8.8 A, and 15.5 A, with variants available for SinCos, EnDat 2.1/SSI/BiSS, and HIPERFACE encoder interfaces. Across the series, the modules support POWERLINK communication through an integrated 3-port hub, along with motor holding brake connection, enable and trigger inputs, temperature sensor connection, and feedback monitoring functions. The electrical design includes overload, short-circuit, and ground-fault protection, while operating parameters such as switching frequency, motor cable length, encoder cable length, and installation elevation are defined for controlled decentralized use.
