The 8I7 ACOPOS Inverters series is a family of B&R frequency inverters built for compact industrial drive systems with performance requirements that extend across multiple machine sizes and power classes.
The series is available in four hardware sizes and covers both 1-phase 200 to 240 VAC and 3-phase 380 to 500 VAC supply ranges, with output ratings spanning from 0.18 kW up to 15 kW. Standard hardware features include an integrated EMC filter, integrated brake chopper, shield plate, and support for optional accessories such as external EMC filters, line chokes, brake resistors, fans, and common DC bus components. In terms of motor control, the series supports induction motors through sensorless flux vector control, configurable V/f operation, and application-specific pump and fan profiles, while also supporting synchronous motors through vector control without speed feedback. Depending on the version, the 8I7 ACOPOS Inverters series also provides POWERLINK communication, digital and analog I/O, relay outputs, and Safe Torque Off functionality for integration into machine-level automation and safety architectures.
