X67 Analog Input/Output Modules are IP67-rated distributed I/O blocks designed to mount directly on the machine and connect using standard M12 cabling, which reduces the need for long home-run analog wiring back to a control cabinet.
The analog lineup includes dedicated input modules, output modules, and mixed modules, with common signal types covering voltage (±10 V) and current (0/4–20 mA), plus specialty variants for temperature measurement (RTD and thermocouples) and high-resolution measurement tasks such as strain-gauge evaluation. Typical analog modules provide four channels per module for current/voltage I/O (with mixed modules combining inputs and outputs), and the platform offers multiple converter-resolution classes depending on the module variant (for example 12-bit or 16-bit for standard voltage/current modules, and higher-resolution designs for specialty measurement). Analog input modules support features such as configurable input filtering and, on applicable voltage modules, open-circuit detection to help identify wiring faults and sensor issues during operation. A key design feature across the X67 analog family is the shielding concept, where the cable shield makes full 360° contact at the connector and continues through the module’s shielding system to improve noise immunity in harsh industrial environments.
