The 4XP Keypad Modules series is a family of B&R add-on keypads designed as X2X slave devices for machine-level operator input and expansion of existing control-panel interfaces.
Across the series, the modules use short-stroke illuminated ring keys, with configurations ranging from compact 3-key versions with integrated digital inputs to 6-key variants offered in both standard and UL HazLoc-compliant versions. Electrical integration is based on 24 VDC supply and X2X communication with electrical isolation, internal bus supply, and supported station spacing of up to 100 m. Depending on the variant, connection hardware includes RJ45 or M12 and M8 interfaces, and certain models allow additional keypad modules to be daisy-chained while routing bus supply through the device. The 4XP Keypad Modules series is intended for industrial installations that require compact keypad expansion, front-side IP65 protection, and reliable integration into B&R X2X-based automation architectures.
