The B&R 6PFT PLC Modules series is a family of field-installation operator devices built around the Power Panel FT50 platform for control, monitoring, and HMI tasks in industrial automation.
The series includes five display sizes from 5.0 inches to 21.5 inches, all using TFT color displays with projected capacitive multi-touch glass fronts and support for both landscape and portrait orientation. Across the range, the devices use an ARM Cortex-A9 based hardware platform with integrated browser and VNC client functionality, Power over Ethernet for simplified installation, and fanless, battery-free construction for reduced maintenance. The housings are designed for harsh environments with IP67 and Type 1, 12, or 4X protection on all sides, and the system supports accessory mounting options such as VESA, gooseneck, table stand, pipe fixtures, and panel gaskets. Overall, the 6PFT series is intended for compact distributed HMI applications where sealed construction, PoE-based wiring, multi-touch operation, and flexible mounting are required.
