The B&R 8BVP ACOPOS Power Supplies series is a family of ACOPOSmulti supply modules that generate and manage the DC bus for servo drive systems while also supporting regeneration back to the supply.
The series includes 22 A and 44 A classes in wall-mounted and cold-plate or pass-through mounting versions, with 750 VDC nominal DC bus operation, integrated power factor correction, 24 VDC auxiliary supply functions, and provision for two plug-in modules. These modules operate from 3-phase mains inputs in the 220 to 480 VAC range and include connections for trigger inputs, POWERLINK communication, external fan control, temperature sensor wiring, and protected 24 VDC outputs. Depending on the model and operating conditions, the platform supports continuous supply and regeneration power up to 15 kW or 30 kW, peak power up to 37.5 kW or 60 kW, and switching frequencies of 5 or 10 kHz with application-dependent derating. Overall, the 8BVP series is intended as the central power supply platform in ACOPOSmulti systems where DC bus generation, regenerative operation, modular expansion, and flexible mounting arrangements are required.
