The 5E9 Transponder Modules series is a family of compact RFID reader units designed for front mounting in a standard 22 mm installation hole and communication over USB.
The series supports 4102 read-only transponders and 4150 read/write transponders, using 125 kHz carrier frequency and amplitude modulation for data transfer. In operation, the reader itself handles tag detection while data evaluation takes place on the connected PC or control system, and the interface supports command-based communication for functions such as status queries, version identification, carrier control, reading, writing, login, reset, and memory dump operations. The hardware includes an integrated antenna, LED status indication, USB connection, and a modular construction with separate installation element, electronics, fastening hardware, and connecting cable.
