Products don't need to move in lockstep anymore - each shuttle goes where it needs to go when it needs to get there. Linear motor technology drives the whole setup, with magnets guiding individual shuttles along tracks. The performance numbers are impressive - shuttles accelerate at over 5g and reach top speeds beyond 4 meters per second while maintaining product spacing as tight as 50 millimeters. The diverters make this system different from traditional conveyors. They're fully electromagnetic, so there's no mechanical wear from constant switching. Product flows can split off, merge back together, or take alternate routes depending on what each item needs. The track itself comes in four basic pieces: straight sections, 45-degree curves, and two different 22.5-degree curves that bend left or right. These segments can be arranged to fit floor space and process flow requirements.
