The 8I6 ACOPOS Inverters series is a family of B&R frequency inverters intended for industrial applications with three-phase synchronous, reluctance, and induction motors.
The series includes 1-phase 200 to 240 VAC input models as well as 3-phase 200 to 240 VAC and 380 to 500 VAC variants, with power ratings ranging from 0.18 kW up to 15 kW. It was structured to support long machine service life and retrofit work, with the P64new platform serving as a largely compatible replacement for the older X64 while maintaining project continuity where possible. In this configuration, the drives provide built-in relay, digital, and analog I/O along with Safe Torque Off capability for integration into machine control systems. The 8I6 ACOPOS Inverters series also supports connection through X2X Link for parameter access and system communication, with compatibility features that help existing automation projects transition to newer hardware.
