The 5PP Power Panels series is a family of B&R panel-based industrial operator and computing platforms designed for machine control, visualization, and system interaction.
The series combines panel hardware with modular system units and interface expansion, using processor, memory, graphics, and storage configurations that support different performance requirements within automation applications. Communication options across the platform include Gigabit Ethernet, POWERLINK, CAN master, X2X Link, serial interfaces, audio functions, and SDL/DVI-based display connectivity, allowing the panels to be integrated into a wide range of control architectures. The hardware is designed for industrial installation with 24 VDC operation, passive cooling on certain system units, galvanic isolation, diagnostic LED indication, and support for removable or expandable memory and storage depending on the configuration.The 5PP Power Panels series is intended to serve as a configurable machine-interface platform that combines operator visualization, local processing capability, and industrial communication support within a single panel-based system.
