8LVA Three Phase Synchronous Motors

The 8LVA Three-Phase Synchronous Motors are ultra-compact servo motors designed for installations where space is limited while still targeting high-dynamic motion performance through low rotor inertia and strong intrinsic acceleration behavior.

The series is available with either a resolver or a fully digital EnDat 2.2 encoder interface, and EnDat variants store motor data in the encoder memory so compatible drive systems can identify the motor and apply nominal/limit values automatically. Motors in the 8LVA family emphasize high overload capability and low cogging, and they are intended for use with ACOPOSmicro servo drives in applications up to roughly 1 kW on 80 VDC or 320/325 VDC DC bus systems (depending on the drive supply). Environmental protection is IP54 as standard, with IP65 available (notably when fitted with the specified oil seal option), and the series can also be ordered with an optional 24 VDC holding brake for shaft holding when de-energized. Mechanical and wiring options include smooth or keyed shaft ends, oil seal variants, and either a double angled built-in connector or a single-cable hybrid solution with a robust, EMC-shielded connector design and a wide swivel/rotation capability for tighter machine routing.
