System 2003 Controllers

The System 2003 Controllers series is a compact automation platform designed to function both as a standalone controller family and as a remote I/O system for broader machine and system architectures.

The series includes CPUs with different performance levels, memory capacities, communication interfaces, and local slots for screw-in modules, allowing the controller configuration to be matched to application requirements. Available controller options in the series include 24 VDC and 100 to 240 VAC powered models, with interfaces such as RS232, CAN bus, Ethernet, and USB depending on the processor version. The platform supports direct expansion with local analog and digital screw-in modules, while additional bus and interface modules allow integration with networks such as CAN bus, Ethernet Powerlink, X2X Link, and Profibus DP. Mechanically, the controllers are built around a DIN-rail-mounted module rack concept with plug-in terminal blocks and diagnostic LEDs, reflecting a design intended for flexible installation, straightforward expansion, and industrial cabinet use.
