The 5DL AP Link Modules series is a family of receiver modules designed to connect B&R Automation Panels to compatible APC industrial PC platforms through panel-link interfaces such as DisplayPort, SDL/DVI, SDL3, and SDL4.
The series supports panel integration across Automation Panel 9x3, 1000, and 5000 platforms, with certain versions also intended for Automation Panel 1130, 5130, and 5230 configurations. Depending on the module, available interfaces include USB 2.0 type A and type B connections, RS232 communication, local brightness or OSD controls, and panel-side connections through DVI-D, RJ45-based SDL3 or SDL4, or DisplayPort. Electrical design across the series is based on 24 VDC operation with galvanic isolation, while compact mechanical dimensions and industrial certification support installation in machine-level control environments. The 5DL AP Link Modules series is intended to provide the communication, display, and peripheral interface bridge between remote operator panels and the connected automation computer system.
