The 5AC CNC Addon Modules series is a group of add-on components for B&R APC620, PPC700, and PPC725 platforms that extends system hardware with mounting and storage-related functions.
The series includes a zinc die-cast flange coupling for support-arm installation, a 128 GB add-on SSD based on MLC flash with PATA and ATA/ATAPI compatibility, add-on hard disk options in 40 GB and 80 GB capacities, and a CompactFlash slot module. The storage components are designed as fixed-installation add-ons, with support for features such as S.M.A.R.T. monitoring, Ultra DMA operation on the SSD, and extended-temperature or 24-hour-duty hard disk configurations depending on the model. CompactFlash-based options are handled internally as primary slave drives, and the manual notes that power must be turned off before inserting or removing CompactFlash cards. Across the series, the hardware is intended to provide mechanical integration and internal storage expansion within the host industrial PC or panel system rather than operate as standalone control modules.
