The 8BVI Servo Controllers series is a family of ACOPOSmulti single-axis servo inverter modules designed for integration into B&R motion systems with a nominal 750 VDC DC bus.
The series includes multiple current classes and mounting variants, including wall-mounted, cold-plate, and feed-through versions, so the controller can be matched to both the thermal design and space constraints of the machine. Each module provides one motor connection and two plug-in module slots, allowing the platform to be configured for feedback interfaces such as EnDat, HIPERFACE, resolver, incremental, SSI, and SinCos as well as supplemental digital, analog, and encoder emulation functions. The hardware also includes 24 V control supply support, holding-brake output, enable and trigger inputs, temperature sensor connection, and protective functions for overload, short circuit, ground fault, undervoltage, and output monitoring. Overall, the 8BVI Servo Controllers series is built for modular servo axis control where flexible feedback integration, compact installation, and protected operation within the ACOPOSmulti architecture are required.
