The 01.S4.D2E-3002 frequency inverter is a production of the internationally certified KEB Automation. This inverter is designed for the accurate control and protection of three-phase industrial servo motor designs; it is an IP20 product that should be installed at an operation temperature that is between -10 to about 45 degrees Celsius. This inverter requires installation in a metal housing that is able to reliably protect it against harsh conditions according to the IP54 protection category; it also requires the use of shielded motor cables that must be connected to the protective earth connection of the servo control and to the housing of the motor. The use of radio interference suppression filters might also be required to reduce the arising interference pulses from this inverter.
Operators using the 01.S4.D2E-3002 frequency inverter should ensure that an isolating switch is installed between the voltage supply and the servo control. This helps to ensure that the product can be shut off independently. Also, switching between the mains and servo control is not permitted. There is an optional miniature operator panel with 9 pole sub-D socket parameterizing interface installed into the front panel of this product; this panel is necessary for the local monitoring, commissioning, and control of the operation of the panel. If the inverter is started without an operator panel, it operates with the last stored value or the factory settings. The operator panel features a 5-digit LED display and a double-function keyboard.
The 01.S4.D2E-3002 frequency inverter can be operated in three different modes. The customer mode, application mode, and the drive mode. In the customer mode, the inverter is configured so that only the minimum number of parameters needed for operation are visible. The application mode features extensive functions for individual solutions, and the drive mode provides an easy manual setup.
