The 00.S4.019-0010 cable assembly is manufactured by KEB for the S4 Combivert Servo Controllers series. It serves as the dedicated power, brake, and thermal sensor lead set that links an S4 drive to its corresponding servo motor, delivering three-phase current and accessory signals through a single shielded run. Integrating these functions into one harness reduces cabinet wiring and maintains consistent electrical characteristics across automated production equipment. This arrangement keeps the motor power conductors and the auxiliary circuits in one managed cable path inside the machine.
The cable construction follows the 4 x 1.5 + 2 x (2 x 0.75) mm² layout, meaning four 1.5 mm² cores carry the motor phases while two twisted pairs of 0.75 mm² accommodate control lines. Overall length is 10 m, giving adequate reach for controller-to-motor runs in most mid-size machines without splices. The larger power cores help limit resistive loss and temperature rise during normal operation. That layout also allows the auxiliary pairs to remain separate from the motor phase conductors while still traveling in the same outer jacket. The protective earth conductor is jacketed in the standard Green-Yellow color, making the grounding path easy to identify. The cable shield is bonded on Both Sides, which helps reduce electromagnetic emission and keeps the shield at the same potential as the cabinet and motor housing.
The auxiliary interface uses A=Brake+, B=Brake-, C/D=PTC, providing separate pins for brake power and for the motor’s PTC temperature sensor. Inside the molded circular connector, the wiring map is U=1, V=2, W=3, Br+=5, Br-=6, PTC=7/8; matching these numbers during installation helps prevent wiring errors. The molded connector body also helps keep the pin positions stable during repeated connection cycles. At the drive end, the screw terminal block is labeled 1=U, 4=V, 3=W, 2=PE, which keeps the phase order consistent from the controller to the motor. These fixed assignments support direct connection to a KEB S4 controller, and the integrated brake and temperature leads remove the need for separate auxiliary cables.
