The controller receives differential analog references through inputs that present an impedance of 40 kΩ, and these inputs are digitized with a resolution of 12-bit for fine setpoint granularity. Commanded values are returned to external hardware on a 100 Ω low-impedance channel with an output granularity of 10-bit. Digital status lines can source up to 20 mA, allowing direct driving of opto-isolated indicators or high-speed counters. Internally, the position counter works with a native granularity of 65,536 inc/rev, aligning with high-resolution encoders for smooth servo loops. Complementary resources include a voltage-mode reference port that can supply 60 mA, eight non-volatile position registers for index moves, and an overload capability that lets current peak temporarily without drive shutdown.
