The 04.S4.R4E-3001 is a servo controller manufactured by KEB for the S4 Combivert Servo Controllers series. Classified as a Combivert servo controller, it is intended for cabinets that already use S4 drives. The controller modulates the stator current of self-ventilated AC servomotors so that commanded torque and speed profiles are followed precisely in industrial automation cells. This control supports coordinated motion in machinery that requires accurate speed regulation and responsive torque delivery.
This unit uses a fixed wiring connection that draws three-phase mains power at 400 V and accepts a line frequency of 50/60 Hz. Within the drive, a resolver or incremental encoder simulation board provides the feedback interface. The resolver and incremental encoder simulation interface allows downstream controllers to verify position without an external converter. The housing corresponds to Unit Size 04, allowing installation in the same frame dimensions used by compatible equipment. The IP20 protection rating permits mounting inside a closed electrical enclosure where protection against accidental contact is required, but exposure to liquid spray is not expected. Three input phases are rectified, and the resulting DC power is pulse-width modulated to energize the motor windings.
