Typical installations place the unit in a control cabinet, where it exchanges command words, sensor signals, and motor feedback to coordinate motion on assembly cells, pick-and-place modules, or conveyor axes. This arrangement lets one compact drive manage both speed regulation and positioning tasks in automated equipment.
The analog command interface uses 12-bit signed resolution, while status can be passed to supervisory hardware through an 8-bit analog output. The current regulator updates every 64 µs, allowing quick correction when the load changes during motion. On the supply side, the drive draws 7 A from a circuit in the 400 V voltage class and is protected upstream by a 10 A fuse. These I/O characteristics support coordination with external sensors, logic circuits, and status indications during normal machine operation.
