10.S4.D31-4M00 is an S4 series frequency inverter from KEB Automation. It is designed for motor control in industrial applications. Altitude of the site used for its operation should not exceed 1000 meters, otherwise the output will derate by 1% per 100 meters. Operation is not permitted at altitudes that exceed 2000 meters. The ambient temperature during operation should be kept between -10 and 45 degrees Celsius. For storage and transport, KEB recommends -25 to 70 degrees Celsius temperature. Protection rating of the 10.S4.D31-4M00 is IP20. Moisture, water or dust must not penetrate into the unit. Use of the inverter in explosion-protection locations is not permitted. The input voltage range is 305 to 500 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz. The inverter must be connected to 3-phase AC mains.
Input current rating of the unit is 7 Amps. KEB recommends using an input fuse with maximum 10 Amps current rating. The rated output current is 6.4 Amps and the stall current is 6.4 Amps. Peak output current of the unit is 22 Amps for 200 milliseconds. Cross-section of the power line should not be less than 1.5 mm2. Heat dissipated by the inverter during operation is 110 Watts. The inverter emits high-frequency waves. It should be installed inside a metal housing and shielded motor cables should be used. KEB recommends use of radio frequency interference suppression filters to protect nearby equipment from the effects of RFI emitted by the unit.
