Product Description:
The 19.S4.HN0-4U11 is a servo controller produced by KEB and supplied within the S4 Combivert Servo Controllers series. It modulates the voltage and frequency supplied to a connected AC motor. Closed-loop control allows the unit to regulate motor speed or torque in response to commands and feedback signals. Suitable applications include packaging lines, material-handling cells, and other automated systems that require controlled motion under changing loads.
The controller handles an apparent power of 42 kVA, indicating the total volt-amp capacity required from the mains transformer and protective devices. The inverter section provides a continuous motor output of 30 kW, representing the shaft power available from the connected motor during steady operation. Nominal current demand from the plant supply is 66 A, while the output bridge delivers a continuous phase current of 60 A to the motor terminals. During rapid acceleration or short braking intervals, the power stage can supply up to 90 A for a limited period without thermal overload. This temporary current capacity provides additional torque when the machine encounters brief changes in speed or load.
The switching devices operate at frequencies up to 16 kHz, while standard operation uses 4 kHz to balance acoustic noise, efficiency, and internal heat generation. The controller uses an E-design, H-size housing that accommodates the power electronics and associated cooling components. Its output supports motor frequencies as high as 1600 Hz, allowing the connected machine to use motor speeds up to 4000 rpm when the motor is suitable for that range. The permitted operating temperature extends from -10 to +45 °C, and storage is allowed from -25 to +70 °C. An enclosure rating of IP20 provides protection against contact with internal components but requires the controller to be installed inside a suitable control cabinet. The unit is intended for motors supplied without a brake and equipped with a feather-key shaft for coupling to gearboxes or pulleys.
