Product Description:
The 00.S4.519-0003 is a dedicated motor cable supplied by KEB for integrating drives from the S4 Combivert Servo Controllers series with matching servomotor assemblies. Within an automation cell, the cable transmits phase power, auxiliary signals, and protective earth between the controller and the motor, allowing the drive to regulate speed, torque, and position across the installed cable length. Its connector hardware, conductor sizing, and shielding are matched to the electrical envelope of the S4 controller so that installation remains straightforward on packaging lines, material-handling axes, or general motion platforms. The assembly also keeps the required conductors in one routed cable, which helps simplify cabinet-to-motor wiring.
The cable’s overall reach is 3 m, giving enough span for cabinet-to-motor routing inside compact machines while limiting voltage drop. Four primary copper cores rated at 4 x 1.5 mm² carry the motor phases and protective earth, and two paired control circuits of 2 x (2 x 0.75 mm²) support the brake and thermal contacts. At the drive end, a molded Power Connector 4+4 mates directly with the S4 output terminal, simplifying connection. On the motor side, an M23 SpeedTec plug provides keyed, quarter-turn locking that speeds connection and maintains contact pressure under vibration. These elements support current capacity, electromagnetic compatibility, and secure mechanical retention for the moving axis.
The cable uses an 8-pole pin layout so that power, signals, and ground remain segregated inside the common jacket. Under continuous duty, the conductor set supports up to 18 A at 30 °C without exceeding permissible thermal rise, aligning with typical servo frame ratings. Cross-linked insulation and shielding allow operation from -50°C to 80°C, covering both refrigerated environments and high-temperature enclosures. The sheath has a Limited Flexible classification, so the cable tolerates occasional motion in cable chains while still favoring stationary trunk runs. A 0.3 m open-shield section eases drain-wire bonding to cabinet ground without stripping additional jacket.
