Product Description:
The 01.S4.D20-3001 servo motor is supplied by KEB within the S4 Combivert Servo Controllers series. Designed for closed-loop drive systems, this rotary unit couples directly to machinery axes and converts electrical energy into controlled mechanical rotation for industrial automation tasks such as positioning tables, feeders, or small conveyors. Its electromechanical design matches the thermal and feedback requirements of the companion S4 controllers, supporting an integrated drive train from a single manufacturer.
Its continuous output is rated at 0.25 kW, providing mechanical power under nominal operating conditions. At the corresponding operating point, the shaft turns at 3000 rpm while the controller delivers a steady current of 1.15 A. Supply connections belong to the 200 V class, allowing operation on commonly used single-phase 200–240 V feeder circuits. A built-in auxiliary encoder produces 1024 ppr square-wave signals so a PLC can monitor speed without loading the resolver feedback loop. Electrical intake on the line side reaches 2.2 A, and the resolver provides absolute rotor position information. The motor can sustain a basic torque of 0.8 Nm during continuous operation and accept an axial load of up to 310 N, making it suitable for compact motion modules.
At standstill, the motor can resist external torque loads of up to 0.95 Nm before slipping, and it draws a peak winding current of 1.35 A to reach this limit. The bearing configuration supports a continuous side load of 400 N, enabling belt-pulley or gearwheel transmission without premature wear. The output journal measures 14 mm in diameter and extends 30 mm from the flange, simplifying connection to standard clamping hubs. The shaft dimensions accommodate compact couplings without requiring an oversized mounting interface. Its radial and axial load capacities support the combined forces commonly encountered in compact indexing tables and small packaging axes.
