Snaplock Limit Switches

The Snap-Lock Limit Switches series is a family of heavy-duty limit switches built for industrial position sensing, with models available in rocker-type and cam-type designs for standard, harsh-environment, hazardous-location, marine, nuclear-qualified, and multi-station applications.

Across the series, configurations range from single-pole 1 NO/1 NC units to double-pole and triple-pole arrangements, with selected versions also offering neutral-position, maintained-contact, and bidirectional operating modes. Construction features described across the manuals include corrosion-resistant housings such as die-cast zinc, bronze, aluminum, and cast iron, along with silver-alloy or gold-plated contacts, gasketed sealing, and adjustable operating levers indexed in 7°30′ increments. Depending on the model, the switches meet enclosure requirements such as NEMA 1, 4, 13, 4X, 6, and 6P, and certain versions are designed to withstand demanding conditions including oil, dust, water, vibration, shock, chemical spray, or hazardous atmospheres. The series also provides a range of trip-travel, reset-travel, torque, and mounting options, allowing the switches to be adapted for everything from compact machine-level sensing to severe-duty and specialized industrial control applications.
