Product Description:
The Danaher EA790-20112 is a snap-lock limit switch, which offers high performance. It has a snap-lock with one pole, providing double-break butt-type contacts, which ensures a stable and accurate performance. This limit switch is designed according to the NEMA enclosure standards including NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 6, 6P, and 13. This switch is most appropriate for areas where dust, moisture and oil are present. The EA790-20112 has an angle of operation of 18 degrees travel, 14 degrees differential travel, and a total of 90 degrees , which is perfect for diverse use. It is available for clockwise (CW) and counterclockwise (CCW) operations and operating levers are available in seven-and-a-half-degree increments, ensuring ease of operation.
One of the important characteristics of EA790-20112 is the versatility of continuous current ratings. Other supporting voltages and currents include 125 VAC at 10.0 A, 250 VAC at 7.5 A and 480 VAC at 5.0 A. This feature enables the switch to be installed in various power systems to power up different industrial systems, making it versatile. The power factor of the switch varies between 75% and 100% and affects how it will perform depending on the load placed on it. A higher power factor simply means that the switch is optimally utilizing electrical energy thus, minimizing energy wastage and boosting the overall performance of a system.
The housing material of the EA790-20112, corrosion-resistant bronze, which provides durability and reliability. This durability ensures that the switch can work under extreme conditions and remain operational for a very long time without wearing out. Bronze makes the switch resistant to corrosion due to oil, chemicals and moisture, such as in a wet, dusty, or corrosive environment.
