This cam-driven unit converts shaft motion into discrete on-off signals so a control system can confirm end-of-stroke, index count, or overtravel conditions in automated assemblies. It is intended for installation on pivots or rollers where moderate torque is available. Its wide-mount zinc housing and threaded conduit entry simplify integration into standard machine frames and junction boxes.
Actuation relies on a cam-action mechanism that drives silver-alloy butt contacts for low-resistance switching. Electrical connection is provided through a 1-11 1/2 NPT conduit tap that accepts standard fittings. The unit provides two normally open and two normally closed circuits, so two paths open while the other two close at each trip. It carries 20 A at 125 VAC, allowing it to energize motor starters or solenoid valves directly. A snap torque of 27 in-lb helps prevent vibration-induced operation while allowing practical adjustment. Form Z geometry, a pole count of two, and the butt-contact arrangement keep the circuits synchronized during operation.

Full mechanical motion spans 90°, providing a broad adjustment range for the mounting arrangement. Operation is counterclockwise relative to the housing reference arrow. The enclosure shields the internal contacts from debris, while the contact arrangement helps minimize arcing and maintain repeatable switching throughout service.
