Product Description:
The EA170-15300 Limit switch from Danaher is a SNAP-LOCK® device that was carefully built to work reliably in control applications. The switch has a short travel type, a front shaft design, and rotates counterclockwise, which means it can be used in industrial automation systems.
The EA170-15300 limit switch can handle both AC and DC loads. At 125V AC, it can handle 20 A, at 250V AC, 15 A, and at 480V AC, 10 A. It can also handle 5 A at 125V DC and 1.5 A at 250V DC. The switch can handle loads with a power factor of 75% to 100%. The enclosure meets NEMA 1, 4, and 13 standards. Water, dust, and grease cannot pass through the EA170 switch. It comes with a standard mount, allowing it to function with a wide range of parts. The switch contains gold-plated linkages and high-temperature components that allow it to operate for brief periods of time at temperatures as high as 175°C. Internal components are designed to endure vibration and earthquakes in order to meet strict licensing requirements. The EA170 switch performs consistently at temperatures ranging from 0°C to 90°C.
The EA170-15300 switch also has a SNAP-LOCK® locking mechanism that makes sure the switch is securely closed and chemical spray protection that keeps the inside working parts safe. The switch takes 6°30′ to travel on a trip, 4° to reset, 7° to suggest, and 36° to travel altogether. It takes 32 in-lbs of torque to trip. The body of the limit switch is made of diecast zinc, and the cover and screws are made of stainless steel. The switch is a component of the EA170 line, which is nuclear-qualified and adheres to strict electrical and mechanical specifications. It guarantees steady performance and long mechanical life.
