The Danaher produced Snaplock Limit Switches product line includes EA170-34100 offers reliable industrial limit detection. It comes with a normal open, normal closed contact arrangement of two contacts in NEMA ‘Z’ configuration rendering it a versatile switching feature. There is an enclosure to fit the NEMA 1, 4 and 13 requirements, to protect from dust, water and oil. On conveyors and other devices which transport material, it is an end of travel sensor that helps accurately control material flow.
This supports in providing reliable end of travel feedback for cranes and hoists to prevent over travel and improve lifting safety in many large manufacturing, processing, and steel industries. A manual tuning capability from 173to 173±730′ is provided by this module, and is achieved by operating lever adjustment in 730′ increments. The component’s operating temperature range is from 0to 90C with exposure to short time to 175C. At 120 VAC, the current rating is continuous, 20 AMPS (75 - 100% Power Factor), resulting in stable high power operation. This switch is built with a die cast zinc housing, stainless steel top cover and fasteners, gold plated contacts, high temperature components, and it is seismic, vibration, and chemical spray resistant to guarantee long term durability in harsh environments.
