The Q SANMOTION Servo Motors series comprises two distinct lines designed for different application needs. The low inertia variant delivers high-response performance, while the medium inertia version emphasizes low ripple operation and enhanced efficiency. Available in both 100V and 200V configurations, the series features sealed frames with O-ring construction, providing IP67 protection against environmental factors. The motors utilize multi-pole architecture, with 10 poles for units under 130mm flange size and 12 poles for larger models. This optimized pole configuration, combined with precisely engineered magnetic circuits and armature designs, has resulted in significant performance improvements. Power loss has been reduced by approximately 20% compared to previous generations, with smaller units achieving around 90% efficiency and larger models reaching up to 95% efficiency. Notably, these motors achieve extremely low cogging torque - less than 0.5% of rated torque - through careful optimization of pole count, slot combinations, and magnetic circuit design. This translates to smoother operation and reduced vibration during precise positioning tasks. For enhanced durability, the series operates within a temperature range of 0-40°C and can withstand storage conditions from -20°C to 65°C. The product range covers flange dimensions from 40mm to 220mm square, accommodating various installation requirements. Motors up to 1kW capacity can achieve maximum speeds of 5000 min-1, making them suitable for high-speed applications. The series maintains compatibility with existing mounting specifications, allowing straightforward replacement of older units.
