Product Description:
The Q1AA13500DXS5WM servo motor is produced by Sanyo Denki within the Q SANMOTION Servo Motors series. As a rotary actuator for closed-loop motion axes, this model converts drive current into shaft torque for indexers, pick-and-place heads, and other automated stages. The unit combines compact dimensions with integrated feedback so automated equipment can position loads quickly and repeatably in industrial production cells. It interfaces directly with SANMOTION drives through a digital encoder link, allowing the controller to monitor rotor movement and regulate the commanded motion.
A square flange measuring 130 mm sets the mechanical mounting pattern and allows direct coupling to mid-frame gearboxes or belt pulleys. The stator windings are designed for a nominal voltage of 200 V, matching common servo amplifiers that operate from three-phase factory power. With correct commutation, the rotor can reach a top speed of 4500 to 5000 rpm, providing rapid traverse capability without exceeding its mechanical speed limit. The low-inertia rotor shortens acceleration and deceleration times, which helps the motor respond quickly during high-cycle operation. The shaft is supplied without a holding brake, so drive torque or an external clamp must maintain a fixed position when power is removed.
The motor can operate at an ambient temperature of 0 to 40 °C and tolerate up to 90% noncondensing humidity, supporting use in typical factory spaces without additional climate control. Position feedback is available through three interchangeable sensor heads identified as PP031, PP038, and PP062. Each sensor head uses a reduced-wiring incremental encoder to decrease cable bulk and simplify routing through drag chains or confined machine spaces. The motor carries CE and UL approvals, indicating that its insulation, leakage current, and physical design comply with the applicable standards. These approvals support installation in machinery intended for regions where either European or North American conformity requirements apply.
