Product Description
The Q2AA10150VCP4A is an illustrious servomotor characterized by its high dynamics and rapid response. Manufactured in Japan by Sanyo Denki under the robust Sanmotion Q series, the Q2AA10150VCP4A is a medium-inertia servo motor that can achieve steady-state in a small amount of time. The supply voltage for this motor must be 200 V. Like all other servomotors, however, this machine should not be connected directly to the mains supply. Instead, a servo drive or amplifier must be used to power this motor and ensure protection features. The servomotor itself does incorporate protection and control devices. It purely relies on the servo drive to provide the excitation current and perform monitoring functions during operation.
The Q2AA10150VCP4A, specifically, has a flange size of 100 millimeters, or about 3.94 inches. With this flange size, it is easy to fit the motor for tight applications and relatively small systems. Provided the motor receives its nominal supply voltage from a compatible servo amplifier, this machine can deliver its rated output of 1.5 kilowatts. As a relatively large servomotor, the Q2AA10150VCP4A is optimized more for torque than speed. At most, this machine can only deliver the rated power at a maximum rotation speed of 2000 rpm.
Aside from its powerful output capabilities, the Q2AA10150VCP4A also incorporates a 24 V blocking brake, ideal for performing shaft stop and hold actions during operation. As with any servomotors equipped with a holding brake, the Q2AA10150VCP4A must be used with a servo drive equipped with a regenerative braking resistor. The Q2AA10150VCP4A employs a reduced-wiring absolute sensor, which allows a compatible servo amplifier to monitor the absolute position of the shaft during operation. Wake Industrial offers this Q servomotor with a one-year warranty.
