It converts incoming three-phase energy to a regulated DC bus and modulates that bus for servo axes, allowing precise speed and torque regulation on factory handling, packaging, and machining lines. Its design version 3 housing encloses power electronics and logic that coordinate with supply and feedback interfaces used throughout modular automation cells.
The power stage can deliver a continuous output of 40 A, which is the maximum motor phase current the device can sustain without thermal derating. Regulation occurs on a DC link that sits at 700 V, giving sufficient voltage headroom for fast torque transients.
