The DKC01.3-200-7-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the DKC Drive Controllers series. As an EcoDrive unit, it conditions DC power from a shared supply and converts it into three-phase output for servo motors and linear axes used in automated assembly, packaging, or material-handling cells. The controller uses design 3 and interface option 01 to communicate with higher-level PLC hardware through the standard front connector.
In the power stage, the internal DC link is stabilized at 700 V, and this voltage feeds an inverter section that can source a continuous phase current of 200 A. With a switching frequency of 8 kHz, the output waveform can be commanded up to 800 Hz, allowing precise regulation of high-speed servomotors. Energy is buffered by a 1.5 mF film capacitor bank so short regeneration events do not overload the supply. Continuous thermal losses inside the housing are rated at 960 W, which is important for cabinet airflow calculations. During longer decelerations, the controller can absorb 60 kWs in its resistor chain before external dumping is required.
A bleeder module limits overvoltage by converting surplus link energy into heat, and its peak absorption capability is 120 kW for 0.5 seconds within a 60-second cycle. The soft-start network contains a 24-ohm resistor that restricts inrush current, and that component is rated for a continuous dissipation of 1 kW while the pre-charge is active. For dynamic braking under fault conditions, a separate Zks resistor with a value of 6 ohms is used. The connected power supply and motor load must match these values.
