Product Description:
The DKC06.3-LK-DVN01 is an EcoDrive communication module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the DKC Drive Controllers series. It adds a dedicated fieldbus interface so the drive can function as a DeviceNet slave node in an automated cell. By connecting motion control parameters to the higher-level PLC over a single trunk cable, the module eliminates serial converters and supports centralized diagnostics. The unit is intended to be installed directly on the controller housing, keeping wiring paths short inside electrical enclosures. This arrangement allows status data, control words, and parameter values to move through the network instead of separate serial links.
The network connector is a COMBICON plug in a male orientation with 5 screw-clamp contacts. Each terminal accepts stranded or solid conductors up to 16 AWG, which matches common drop-cable sizes used on industrial fieldbus networks. The removable plug format lets the network leads be terminated before the connector is attached to the module. Interface option code 06 connects the card to the drive backplane, and fieldbus data is exchanged through DeviceNet object models. Hardware design 3 and design version 3 add shielding around the CAN transceiver and support automatic baud-rate detection for stable communication in dense cabinet layouts.
Conformance to DeviceNet Spec 2.0 Vol.1 supports duplicate-MAC-ID checking, error control polling, and both explicit and cyclic messaging services. For multi-core cabling, the terminals accept conductor areas up to 1.5 mm², while a single wire can be as large as 2.5 mm². The module is part of the EcoDrive platform and is intended for direct integration with compatible drive controllers. The communication profile supports predictable node behavior during startup and normal cyclic data exchange on the bus. The terminal block remains suited to common industrial network cable sizes used inside control cabinets.
