The Bosch Rexroth Indramat DKC03.3-100-7-FW is a design-version 3 EcoDrive controller equipped with interface option 03. Its inverter power section operates from a nominal 700 V DC bus and generates a controlled three-phase output for the connected servo motor. Both the rated current and maximum output current are 100 A. The controller has a maximum output voltage of 800 V and can generate output frequencies up to 1,000 Hz. On the supply side, the maximum input current is 40 A, while the permitted input-voltage variation is ±10 percent of the specified supply value.
A separate 24 VDC input supplies the DKC control electronics. The control supply requires 26 W without the brake load, so the brake circuit must be accounted for separately when sizing the control-voltage supply. The drive provides a brake output with maximum limits of 40 VDC and 2 A; both values must be compatible with the connected brake coil and its wiring. The continuous power dissipation is 420 W. This heat is released inside the electrical enclosure and must be included when calculating cabinet ventilation or cooling capacity.
Nominal operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 45°C. Operation at temperatures between 45°C and the reduced-output limit of 55°C requires the applicable derating conditions rather than use at the controller’s unrestricted ratings. Additionally, this unit measures 360 mm high, 105 mm wide, and 261 mm deep, with a weight of 9.7 kg. Its short-circuit current rating is 42,000 A rms.
