Bosch Rexroth Indramat produces the DKC01.3-100-7-FW as part of the DKC Drive Controllers series. The DKC01.3-100-7-FW is an ECODRIVE03 DKC drive controller that supplies controlled three-phase motor output for compatible Rexroth Indramat servo systems.It operates from the specified AC input and uses an internal DC bus to supply the inverter stage.
The power electronics are sized for a rated output of 100 A, with the same peak value listed under type current. When operated at a 4 kHz switching frequency the continuous motor current is 40 A and the inverter can deliver up to 400 Hz of fundamental output; raising the carrier to 8 kHz doubles this ceiling. The DC link is nominally held at 700 V and buffered by internal capacitance. Excess regenerative energy is routed to a bleeder circuit capable of 0.5 kW continuous dissipation and backed by a 24 Ω soft-start resistor that limits inrush and is rated for 0.5 kW. A built-in dynamic brake uses a 6 Ω ZKS resistor, and interface option 01 enables brake control through firmware. Device power losses are 420 W at nominal load, and both the design and design version are identified as 3 under the manufacturer’s coding.
The remaining ratings define installation limits. The bleeder network tolerates momentary peaks of 120 kW for 0.25 s, giving 31 kWs of absorbable energy during heavy decelerations. With the higher carrier setting the drive maintains modulation up to 800 Hz, supporting applications that require higher output-frequency capability within the drive’s rated limits. Internal heat generation reaches 420 W, evacuated through the finned housing, while a DC bus storage of 0.675 mF stabilizes voltage when torque reverses. The enclosure measures 105 mm wide, 360 mm high, and 261 mm deep, and it ships as part of the EcoDrive product line with dynamic brake and soft-start hardware already integrated.
