Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DKC11.3-100-7-FW drive controller for the DKC Drive Controllers series. The unit belongs to the EcoDrive product type and converts rectified supply energy into controlled three-phase output for servo axes in automated machinery. It fits applications that require rapid current loops and includes interface option code 11 for command and diagnostic exchange with higher-level motion controllers, while an integrated dynamic brake circuit manages regenerative energy.

Its power stage is rated for 100 A, a figure that also represents the drive’s maximum and peak-1 current capability, while continuous output at a 4 kHz switching frequency is limited to 40 A to protect the semiconductors. The internal DC link operates at 700 V, storing up to 31 kWs of kinetic energy that can be returned to the mains or dissipated through the ZKS brake network. When commanded, the inverter can develop line-to-line voltages of 800 V and modulate carrier frequencies up to 1000 Hz, or 800 Hz when the PWM rises to 8 kHz. A dedicated 6 Ω ZKS brake resistor works with the dynamic brake circuitry to suppress regeneration peaks. Mechanical packaging follows design 3 of series 11 and occupies 105 mm of width, 261 mm of depth, and 360 mm in height. Overall mass is 9.7 kg, allowing cabinet mounting without additional support. Permissible ambient temperature reaches 45 °C at nominal load or 55 °C with derating, so enclosure airflow must accommodate the thermal output.
