The DKC03.3-012-3-MGP-01VRS is a new generation industrial drive controller manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. This drive controller is manufactured according to the IP20 protection class, its housing unit can effective prevent the penetration of solid materials with an external diameter larger than 12 millimeters. The DKC03.3-012-3-MGP-01VRS offers industrial motors speed control, position control, fine interpolation, and field-oriented stator current control. Also, mechanical translatory elements such as gear ratios and infeed are integrated into the drive, the converter is widely renowned for its ability to control the operation industrial motor series even when these motor are operating at very low speeds.
The communication between the DKC03.3-012-3-MGP-01VRS servo drive and all other parts of the servo drive is done according to the PROFIBUS-DP communication protocol. The rated current required by this servo drive for optimum operation is 12 Amperes, the drive can also operate with a switching frequency of either 8 or 4 Amperes depending on the preference of the operator. This drive controller is a self-diagnostic, it is designed with special light-emitting diodes which the operator can use to monitor the operational status of the servo drive. The drive controller also contains an internal fan that regulates the heat generated in the servo drive via forced ventilation.
The electrical cables used with the DKC03.3-012-3-MGP-01VRS drive controller are of two major types; the motor feedback cable and the power cable. The motor feedback cable is used by the servo drive to exchange digital information with the motor while the power cable conducts electrical current to the motor.
