The DKC02.1-040-7-FW is an EcoDrive motion control unit manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the DKC Drive Controllers series. This controller supplies regulated DC power to servo motors and monitors feedback, allowing precise positioning and speed regulation in industrial automation cells and conveyor lines. It is supplied in design version 1 and fits second-generation drive racks. Its function combines power conversion and closed-loop motor control in one cabinet-mounted module.

The controller uses a DC bus charged to 700 V and buffered by a 0.15 mF capacitor, so energy recovered during braking is smoothed instead of returning to the line supply. The regenerative bleeder resistor can dissipate 0.15 kW continuously and up to 10 kW for short intervals. The DC link has a maximum feedback capacity of 5.0 kWs and a stored-energy reserve of 15 Ws, describing how returned braking energy is handled inside the controller. Environmental limits allow operation at 95% relative humidity, 25 g/m³ absolute humidity, and an installation altitude of 1,000 m without derating. Mechanical handling is straightforward because the unit weighs 4.4 kg. The unit is series 02 and uses interface option 02 for connection to SERCOS networks.
