Product Description:

The X67PS1300 is a compact power-supply module produced by B&R Automation for the X67 Analog Input Output Modules series. It delivers regulated 24-volt energy to remote I/O segments that mount directly on machinery, and its housing is intended for decentralized installation without a control cabinet. The device feeds the internal X2X real-time bus so analog and digital channels receive stable operating power in industrial automation systems.

Operating from a 24 VDC source, the unit tolerates wiring mistakes thanks to reverse polarity protection, and it disconnects safely when load impedance collapses because it is short-circuit proof. The output stage is also overload proof, so brief current peaks do not trip the line. For higher current demand, several modules can work side by side through parallel connection, while system availability is improved by redundancy operation, which lets two identical supplies share power without mutual interference. Within each node, only one power supply is permitted per group. Configuration is simplified because the module is not assigned its own station number, and the design omits signal regeneration functions because the upstream bus coupler handles those duties.

The feature labeled Bus Supply Isolation +24 V BC/X2X L provides galvanic separation between the field supply and the logic supply, preventing ground-loop currents along the machine frame. The module can source up to 15 W of X2X Link Power, ensuring that connected I/O slices and their signal-conditioning circuits receive sufficient energy without auxiliary wiring. For safety-rated outputs, a dedicated feed labeled +24 V I/O is switched by external safety relays so emergency-stop chains can remove actuator power while the communication backbone remains energized.
