The X67AM1223 is manufactured by B&R Automation and belongs to its X67 series of robust I/O modules that comes with IP 67 protection. The module offers extreme robustness as it is completely sealed for maximizing electromagnetic immunity (EMC) hidden inside. The module requires minimal wiring with absolute the least possible chance of any wiring error since only a single bus cable and 24 VDC power supply is required. The I/O module can serve any kind of application from a small machine to a large plant at any level of performance required. Its service is also simple as each actuator or sensor can individually be replaced and the unit also offers extensive diagnostic options too.
The X67AM1223 I/O module comes with 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs each of +/- 10 V. The status indicator shows I/O function per channel, bus function, and supply voltage for user's convenience. The diagnostic LEDs are avaliable for a simple and easy diagnostic operation while the device is operational. It has a M-12 coded X2X link with 4 x M12-A coded connectors. The power supply is of M8 4-pole type and the I/O power consumption is 3 W whereas the X2X link power consumption is 0.75 W. The digital converter resolution is 12 bit and the unit comes with 400 microseconds of conversion time for both inputs.
