Product Description:

The X67DM1321-C01 is one of the most impressive digital mixed modules manufactured by B&R Automation for highly automated industrial systems. In total, this module has eight digital inputs which can be configured either as outputs or inputs. When configured as an input, the channel acts as a sink. Conversely, when a channel is configured as an output, it acts as a source connection. The unique thing about this module is that it has configurable input delay, and it provides single-channel diagnostics. What this means is that each channel in this module is equipped with a diagnostic feature to monitor the status of signal transmission.

The X67DM1321-C01 runs at a nominal terminal voltage of 24 VDC. At rated conditions, this digital module draws a current of 0.5 A. Aside from its configurable input filter and mixed channels, this device also provides two additional channels for counter functions, running at a frequency of 50 kHz. To facilitate signal transmission through its channels, the X67DM1321-C01 utilizes eight M8 3-pin connectors. The I/O power supply, on the other hand, utilizes a 4-pin M8 connector. During operation, the internal I/O of this device consumes around 2.5 W. The X2X link power supply consumes an additional 0.75 W at rated conditions.

When operated with other sensors or actuators, the I/O power supply of the X67DM1321-C01 can consume a maximum power of 12 W. At any point in time, however, the maximum summation current must not exceed the value of 0.5 A. Like other digital modules manufactured by B&R Automation, this device employs short-circuit protection and switching voltages for its digital inputs. Wake Industrial generously offers a one-year warranty upon purchase of this robust digital mixed module.
