B&R Automation has released the X67 series of robust modules and the X67AT1402 belongs to this series. The system has been designed smartly such that it can be comissioned in record times with minimal wiring required. The overall convenience for the user is high and due to its IP 67 protection rating, it can be freely installed in any extreme industrial condition on-site without any performance lapse. The unit comes with the option of terminal temperature compensation which underlines it smart design. Effective diagnostics of the system can be performed owing to its design which allows for individual components to be replaced for an effective root cause analysis for any fault.
The X67AT1402 supports 4 I/O points and all four sensors of M12 thermocouple type. The module is compatible with J/K/N/R/S thermocouples and the presence of 16 bit resolution for its digital converter makes it very precise. The power supply connection is of 4-pin MB type and the unit comes with status indicators in the form of LEDs that help with status checks and diagnostics. The module requires 24 VDC nominal power supply, weighs just 0.1 kg, and it can be operated up to a temperature of 60 degree celsius. Moreover, the strong design allows for care-free storage at temperatures up to 85 degree celsius.
