Product Description:
The X67CA0E41.0010 is a preassembled fieldbus cable manufactured by B & R Automation for the X67 Analog Input Output Modules series. It links a shielded machine-mount I/O block to an Ethernet switch or controller, carrying both data and auxiliary supply lines in one flexible assembly for distributed machine communication. The outer jacket is polyurethane (PUR), a material chosen for abrasion resistance in dynamic drag-chain layouts frequently encountered on automated production equipment.
Electrically, the cable meets Category 5 / Class D performance, supporting 100 Ω balanced pairs and using a conductor cross-section of 4×0.34 mm² for stable Ethernet transmission. The molded assembly is supplied in a 1 m length, and the round profile measures 6.5 mm ±0.2 mm in diameter, permitting compact routing through machine frames. For moving-cable carriers, a minimum bend radius of 200 mm is required, and the cable supports at least 3 million bending cycles at up to 3 m/s travel speed. Copper conductors exhibit a resistance not exceeding 120 Ω/km at 20 °C, which maintains signal integrity over short fieldbus drops. Power conductors and data pairs are rated for a maximum operating potential of 60 V, enabling simultaneous sensor supply through the same sheath.
The overmolded connectors and jacket achieve an ingress rating of IP67, so the link remains sealed against dust and temporary water contact. A braided shield with 85% coverage controls electromagnetic emission and works with insulation that withstands 500 MΩ/km at 20 °C. Dielectric strength is proven with a 2000 V test pulse, while the twisted pairs sustain a line rate of 10/100 Mbit/s for standard Ethernet I/O traffic. Current-carrying capability is set by the stranded core size of 4× 22 AWG, balancing flexibility with low voltage drop on short machine segments.
