Product Description:
The X67AM1323 is an analog input/output field module manufactured by B&R Automation for the X67 Analog Input Output Modules series. Intended for decentralized installations, the module captures process variables and issues control currents directly at the machine, then exchanges this data with the PLC over a shielded copper network. Its synchronous operation keeps acquisition and output phases aligned with the controller cycle, which is important for closed-loop motion and pressure regulation tasks.
The module offers 2 analog inputs for sensor feedback and 2 analog outputs for control signals, enabling matched channel allocation in loop pairs. Each channel is digitized with a 12-bit converter resolution, providing 4096 steps so that small variations remain visible to the controller. The measurement path accepts a 0 to 20 mA signal range, covering the industry-standard spans used by transmitters and proportional valves. A configurable input filter can be applied to attenuate high-frequency noise without altering the base update rate. Internally, conversion and output updates share the same sampling clock, while the single input and output bus ports streamline series wiring inside an X67 segment.
A 360° analog shielding concept surrounds the signal conductors, and the bus exchanges both cyclic and acyclic communication frames so configuration and process data share the same cable. Termination is made through an M12, 5-pin connector with B-coded keying, allowing quick replacement without rewiring mistakes. The module selects its station number through automatic node addressing, which removes manual DIP switch settings during setup. With overall dimensions of 53 × 42 × 85 mm, the device fits into tight mounting spaces while maintaining consistent signal integrity along the trunk line.
