Product Description:
The X67CA0X01.0050 is a pre-assembled hybrid cable supplied by B&R Automation for use with field-mounted units in the X67 Analog Input Output Modules series. It carries both supply power and signal conductors in one jacket, so distributed I/O blocks can be linked to a control cabinet interface without separate cable runs. In plant networks, the assembly supports stable power distribution and data transfer between the controller backbone and IP67 expansion modules mounted directly on machinery. This layout helps keep wiring compact where space around sensors, actuators, and remote I/O points is limited.
The cable is supplied in a 5 m length with a factory trim tolerance of +5 cm, and it terminates in a straight 4-pin M12 plug for direct connection to the module header. The logic pair uses 2 × 24 AWG conductors, while the supply pair uses 2 × 22 AWG conductors to balance signal integrity and voltage drop. Copper conductors have a data line resistance of no more than 78 Ω/km, and insulation resistance is at least 100 MΩ to reduce leakage. The outer jacket has a diameter of 6.9 mm ±0.2 mm and includes tinned-copper braiding that covers more than 85% of the surface for low-impedance shielding. Each contact can carry up to 4 A per contact, and the cable supports a continuous operating voltage of 250 V AC or DC.
A minimum bend radius of 15 × OD helps protect the cores from kinking during installation, and the cable is rated for 2 million flex cycles when routed through energy chains at up to 4 m/s² acceleration. Once the threaded coupling is tightened, the connection reaches IP67 protection, allowing washdown exposure while the shield supports effective EMI reduction. In dynamic gantry or robot axes, the assembly can travel at speeds up to 3 m/s without jacket damage. The tinned-copper shield adds screening for stable signal transmission during motion.
