The X67IF1121 is a remote I/O module manufactured by B & R Automation within the X67 Analog Input Output Modules series. Mounted directly on machinery, it extends the PLC backplane to field devices by combining digital sensing and actuation inside a rugged, decentralized housing. Its role is to gather on-machine signals and drive localized loads, which helps reduce cabinet wiring and supports modular machine layouts in industrial automation. This arrangement is useful on equipment such as conveyors, packaging stations, and transfer systems where control points are distributed across the machine frame.

On its front face, the module provides 2 digital input channels that operate in a sink configuration.
