Product Description:

B&R Automation manufactures the X67CA0X11.0050 connection cable for its X67 Analog Input Output Modules series. The assembly links distributed I/O nodes to the host controller and power rails, permitting quick installation through a single factory-molded plug. By routing both supply and signal conductors inside one shielded line, the cable reduces panel wiring effort and keeps field-mounted modules powered and connected in industrial automation cells.

The plug on the field end is an M12, 4-pin, angled connector, and its B-coded keying prevents cross-mating with other voltage classes. Two supply conductors sized 2 x 22 AWG feed load power, while two data conductors of 2 x 24 AWG carry data signals. Complete shielding with tinned copper braiding and >85% coverage reduces electromagnetic noise that can disturb analog channels. Mechanical endurance reaches 2 million flex cycles, allowing continuous motion on cable chains. A factory-cut length of 5 m is provided, and with a mass of 0.063 kg/m the finished piece weighs roughly 0.32 kg. The jacket measures 6.9 mm ±0.2 mm in outer diameter, making it compatible with standard clamps and carriers. Category II insulation and an insulation resistance of at least 100 MΩ keep the conductors separated from the shield during service.

The electrical envelope permits operation up to 250 V, so the line can share cabinets with common auxiliary power circuits. Each contact safely carries 4 A/contact at 40 °C, matching the current drawn by mixed analog outputs. Environmental sealing is rated at IP67; once coupled, the connection blocks dust and withstands short immersion, eliminating extra housings on machinery. The outer sheath is molded from Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which resists abrasion, oils, and low-temperature cracking while retaining flexibility. Grounded shielding through the B-coded interface helps maintain stable signal quality during prolonged bending and vibration.
